Thymus Gland - Immune System SupportThymus Gland
The thymus is a small gland located behind the upper chest area,
which plays a key role in proper immune functioning. This gland
peaks in size at puberty, and then begins steady involution
(shrinkage), until eventually it becomes incapable of producing
certain proteins the immune system needs. Thymic Protein AThymic Protein A, the active ingredient in Proboost, is an essential substance, necessary for the proper functioning of the immune system; specifically the portion named "cell-mediated immunity” which controls how viruses, bacteria, and other harmful agents are controlled and disposed of by the immune system. Scientific studies, performed on in vitro cells, animals, and humans, have all shown significant benefits in supporting and strengthening the immune system by activating the T-4 helper cells. Reported results include increased immunity, improving sleep and energy, and restoring quality of life for ill individuals. The thymus gland, which is the centerpiece of the immune system, gradually decreases in size and functionality beginning at age three. By age 40, the thymus gland is no longer capable of producing sufficient levels of a critical protein, thymic Protein A, needed to program T-cells to jump-start an immune response. ProBoost® was developed to meet this thymus shortfall. Thymic Protein A, the active ingredient in ProBoost®, has the same biological activity as the natural thymic protein that is produced by the thymus gland. ProBoost® helps your body to jump-start an immune response. Over the past six years since Thymic Protein A was introduced as an oral nutritional supplement, several human studies have further substantiated the scientific findings that this protein ALONE, in its purified state, has tremendous immune regulation capabilities as both a stimulant and a down-regulating agent, depending on the bodys requirements. Two studies were completed one involving chronic fatigue syndrome (CFIDS) which showed improvement both clinically and by diagnostic testing, the second study involving Epstein-Barr (EBV) patients, it also showed improvements both clinically and by diagnostic testing. “The single best immune system supplement available. – Jacob Teitelbaum, M.D. Director, Annapolis Research CenterSuggested Use: As a dietary supplement, empty one packet under tongue and allow to dissolve for 3 minutes. Use 1-3 packets daily, as often as every 4 hours, or as directed by a health care practitioner.
Ingredients: Each pack contains 4 micrograms freeze-dried,
