Maximum Vitality® Reserve is an iron-free, practitioner-grade multivitamin built around the core vitamins and minerals — at generous potencies, in forms chosen for absorption.

Reserve is 6 slight larger tablets a day instead of 4. It’s a simpler formula without ESP’s premium nutrients, such as ALA, CoQ10, tocotrienols, trace amino acids and minerals, but it gives you more of the core vitamins and minerals.

When ESP went out of stock, we looked for a formula that met our standards on the things that determine whether a multivitamin works: the forms of the nutrients, whether the tablet dissolves, and manufacturing quality.

Why we selected this formula

• Active, well-absorbed nutrient forms. Folate is Metafolin®, a patented L-5-methyltetrahydrofolate your body uses directly without conversion. B12 is methylcobalamin. Vitamin E is natural-source RRR-alpha tocopherol rather than the synthetic form.
• Albion® chelated minerals. Magnesium, zinc, copper, manganese, and chromium are all amino acid chelates, with calcium as citrate-malate — forms selected for absorption rather than cost.
• Disintegration tested every lot. Each lot is tested to official USP protocols confirming the tablets break down within 45 minutes. Nutrients that don’t release don’t get absorbed.
• Made without common allergens. No milk, egg, fish, shellfish, tree nuts, peanuts, wheat, gluten, soy, or sesame. No synthetic colors, flavors, or preservatives. No iron.

What’s different while you’re on Reserve

Reserve doesn’t include the premium nutrients and botanicals that make ESP our most comprehensive formula — CoQ10, alpha-lipoic acid, resveratrol, tocotrienols, milk thistle, green tea, curcumin, quercetin, ginkgo, and more.

It isn’t a lesser version of ESP. It’s a different formula with a different job: covering the essential nutritional bases thoroughly, at higher potencies than ESP delivers on most of the core panel. Antioxidant support comes from the nutrients themselves — more than twice the vitamin C, double the selenium, plus a citrus bioflavonoid complex.

If a particular ESP ingredient is part of your routine, several are available individually from our catalog and can be taken alongside Reserve. CoQ10 and vitamin D3 are the two customers ask about most.

How to take it

Six tablets daily with food — most people find three with breakfast and three with dinner the easiest way to fit it in.

Reserve’s tablets are slight larger than ESP’s smaller easier-to-swallow tablets. Taking them a few at a time across the day works just as well.

When ESP returns

Simply switch back.  There’s no transition needed in either direction. We’ll let you know and begin filling standing orders as soon as the new lot arrives.
